Eye Candy!
You will be spammed, in this post particular, with pictures! I hope none of you mind.

I guess I will also share my thoughts on the Geo Beauty circle lenses that I had received about a week ago (give or take a day or two). I had purchased my very first circle lenses from honeycolor.com. There were no issues with the purchasing, and they came within a few weeks afterwards. I also thought the packaging they were stored in was professional, yet cute. It was amusing to see the instructions for use on the backside. I'm already a veteran at putting in contacts, so no need for instructions! They felt weird when I first put them on. They kind of shift slightly whenever I blink, or if I keep my eyes closed, etc, etc. I don't know if any of you have that issues or if it's normal or whatever. This is my first circle lenses, so I really have no clue. The issue dissipates after a little while and it doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything at all. I do like the color, even though it's a few shades darker than what appeared on the honeycolor site. It's not so bad were it's an issue or anything like that.

In conclusion, I really liked ordering from honeycolor.com. I will most definitely be making more purchases from them again! I also fancy my new circle lenses.

In addition to having a cute and professional packaging they were also kind enough to supply me with a contact case to put them in. How nice of them! I thought the case was a little bit on the plain side and decided to decoden it! Here are the results:

Water! It does the Body Good!
Everyone has issues with their skin. It could be that you have dry skin, or oily skin, or a combination of both (like me)! Some of us may have plagued with big pores, which make for nasty little blackheads (also a problem that I deal with). Well, the first steps to having nearly flawless complexion begins with water.

Water, my dear readers, has plentiful benefits that most people over look. Did you know that most of you could be spending your days in mild dehydration? Water aids in digestion, circulation, absorption and excretion. When you drink an adequate amount of water not only would your overall health be enhanced, but you'll have more energy, obtain bright, clear eyes, and of course a radiant complexion!

Water carries nutrients to every cell in your body, flushes out nasty toxins, assists with blood flow and circulation. I mean, I don't understand why everyone isn't addicted to water! Look at how it could help you.

Drinking your daily required water helps to keep your usual dry and flaky skin moisturized. It helps balance out other facial problems such as oily skin as well. Drinking water is also the first, and essential step, to minimizing your pores! So, ladies, please, try to replace your usual drinks with a glass of water. If you have no clue how much water you should drink on a daily basis, just go to this site. You'll be asked a few questions, and by answering them it will calculate the appropriate amount specifically for you.

Shopping Escapades!
I spent practically all day shopping, and I also spent more money than I had wanted too today. However! I do not regret any of the purchases I had made. The flowery pair of shorts, and the crochet top was found and purchased at Khol's. I really love that store, they have such surprises! The Betsey Johnson sunglasses and dangle earrings were found at T.J Max, which is also another great store for surprises and amazing deals. The bra was from Arie's. Oh my God, this little deviant gives me the best kind of cleavage I could ask for. It's amazing cleavage, but it doesn't overdo it, so it doesn't look too obviously fake or anything like that. I had also gone to a craft store and stocked up on more chains and accessories to make more jewelry pieces. You should be expecting some pictures soon enough!

Oh, an before I forget! My circle lenses from Honey Color came in the mail today! You will most definitely be seeing pictures of myself and reading my personal review either tomorrow or sometime in the very near future!

I will end this by showing you my most recent charms I made out of polymer clay! One's an ice cream scoop, a little bat, a cookie shaped into a cute puppy face, and a little heart with pearls!

I Make Jewelry!
My interest in jewelry making actually branched off from my fascination with deco den! I purchased a few whipple kits and learned the ways of decorating anything I wanted into adorable pastry treats. This had lead me to start making my own cabochons from polymer clay, and I've quite a collection now! Also, getting into the Gyaru fashion has inspired and opened me to the world of jewelry. I never used to wear jewelry, or any kind of accessories with my outfits, but all that has changed! That was probably the driving force into actual jewelry making. And, well, I started putting together my charms, that I had already made out of polymer clay, and turned them into adorable accessories!

Please excuse the low quality of the pictures. My camera has been acting up, and I've been having to use my cell phone to take pictures, in the mean time.

My Thoughts on Gyaru!
I feel as though that most Gals, especially Gaijin Gyaru, spend most of their time criticizing newer Gals and forgetting what it really means to be a Gal. I am also not surprised by the amount of bashing that goes around on the internet. This all comes with the territory. And, when there's hormonal teenagers involved, you can't expect respect or maturity.

So, the first and most important thing you need to take with you, on your Gyaru journey, is the uncanny ability to not give a fuck about what anyone says to you. If it's not helping you in any shape or form, disregard them. Don't allow yourself to be bullied out of something that you like and wish to try. This is all my opinion, of course, so take what you want out of this. I hope it'll progress you deeper into the wonderful world of Gyaru!

I want to first explain what Gyaru means to me, and I'm pretty sure you will feel the same way. I think it is a little deeper than all the makeup, and all the fashion. There are internal aspects of it as well. You have to take care of yourself in mind, body, and spirit. You need to be strong-minded. You are going into this because of you and no one else. If people aren't there to encourage you, you can tell them where to go and it's usually, "fuck off". Not only do you need to prepare mentally from other people, but yourself as well. This one is most important too! You need to love yourself. You need to know that you are beautiful regardless of what anyone says. If you get sad, anxious, or depressed easily you could always a) send me a message though my tumblr or b) comment below because I'll post a few exercises you can do to keep your mind off negative thoughts.

Being Gyaru means taking care of your body, being healthy. It is said that everyone needs to do at least a half hour of cardio everyday. So, work that into your day. I am not saying you need to be a certain weight, but suggesting adding things into your daily schedule that will promote healthy habits: exercise plans, eating right, getting enough sleep, having a good skin and hair care regime. Gyrau, to me, means femininity, beauty, being stunning. You need to take very good care of your face, hair and nails because those are the main focal points (besides your coordinate)!

Practice, practice, practice! I can't say that enough! For most, this is something that just won't magically come together. You really need to work at it. Youtube is a great resource for tutorials! There you can watch how to do your makeup, hair, nails, and whatever your little Gyaru heart desires! So, before you even worry about what kind of pieces of clothing and accessories you need to buy your first task should be learning on how to apply makeup, doing your nails, different hairstyles. It really doesn't matter what sub-style of Gyaru you like over the other because they pretty much all have the same basics: false lashes, circle lenses, contouring & highlighting, blush, and eyeliner!

Once you've got the basics down then you can begin your search for clothes, and making coordinates! By now, I'm assuming, you've already picked a sub-style and been rapidly searching every online store! If you are feeling just a little overwhelmed, that's normal! Don't worry too much about it because everyone gets overexcited. I suggest looking through pictures of whatever sub-type you find most interesting and pick out an outfit or two. It will be easier to try and replicate or find a similar outfit. You can do this for online shopping or physically going to the store! Remember, Gals, whatever style you decide to pick, think stunning. You look at all the Gyaru magazines and no matter what style they're selling, each and every one of them are just stunning. They are making a statement, but never get it confused with "trying too hard". It's a fine line and it's easy to cross it.

I am still very new to Gyaru, but I've learned a lot from doing my own research. If you have any questions feel free to ask!

Today's Coord!
Rokku Gyaru was the inspiration of this outfit! I think it turned out really good! Although, I would want to replaced the belt, that I wore today, with a nice D.I.A belt. I also need to invest in a pair of knee high, platformed goth-esque boots.

Shirt: Express.
Shorts: Hot Topic.
Belt: Betsey Johnson.
Tights: CVS/Walgreens.
Shoes: Charlotte Russe.

Circle Lenses!

I just purchased my very first pair of circle lenses at honeycolor!

I picked the Geo Beauty Blue color because that one seemed to be a very vivid shade of blue. Has anyone purchased a pair of Geo or Geo Beauty, more specifically, circle lenses? I would love to hear feedback! I am pretty excited! How long should I expect to wait before they arrive? A few weeks? I'll definitely take a before/after picture with a personal review on them!
